Adventures of the rainbow star (Starflower)

So today I did collect the table and have an idea of what I shall do with it but as so often happens in life I was thrown a curve ball and have not made progress on the front. perhaps tomorrow will fare better…

So this evening I decided to prepare the fabric for my star block that I am thinking of having for my bee block which is set for August. The design is from Ellison Lane Quilts and can be found here http://ellisonlane.blogspot.com.au/2011/04/starflower-block-tutorial.html .

So in following the pattern I need 16 4×4″ squares… the instructions say 8 fabrics but I have chosen two different but complementing fabrics for each section. Image

And here they are all nicely cut and ready for some white!

Anyway I am looking forward to the making of the block but it will l just have to be another day!

Cheers
